I too have a love/ hate relationship with deadlifts, they remind me of a crazy girlfriend or something, you just want to run but *something* keeps pulling you back..LOL!!!

What I really enjoyed were the fat-bar deads we did and I think the rolling thunders are awesome, if you increase the range of motion on the pull somehow.

Damn deadlifts :(
They ruined me! no, not really. My stupidity ruined me by not listening to my body. Deadlifts are good, but they can easily be ABUSED!!!!!!

I dig deads...but only do them once a week...maybe. I wish I had time to do more, but reading about adverse effects while lifting fatigued has left me cautious. To say the least.
Nice numbers you're posting...good times for sure.

That reminds me Tom I used to do the RT on blocks. Hmmm might be a better option for me at the moment.
Thanks David. Tom used to work with you?

Yeah, standing on blocks or even some stairs might be just the ticket for the RT, It just seems to be darn efficient as long as you can break at the hips a bit more for a longer pull. I'm gonna hafta git me one and give that a go, I was reluctant at first but thinking about it has got me going again...
Me and "Podunk" used to run & gun on the mean streets of Austin, Fresno and points in between...lotsa good times between us.
